Amazed.

Seriously amazed lately! I can’t begin to explain how amazing it is being a parent. Seeing Rocco’s little face makes my day! We have had some really exciting things happen over the past month.

We celebrated Kim’s first mother’s day and it was awesome, she loved the Pandora charms Roc and I got her and we had a nice relaxing lunch out on the dock at our favorite seafood spot. After lunch we went to Kim’s Uncle Ed’s new place for some time with the family.  Overall it was a great day and Kim was so happy!

The following weekend we celebrated the baptism of our little man! It was so nice out and we had such a big turn out for the baptism at church and for the party following. Its so amazing to see the amount of love that Rocco got from all our family and friends.  Kim cooked all the food and she did an amazing job as usual. Seriously my wife is and amazing cook amongst other things. A big shout out to everyone that helped with the party but a big thank you to My Dad, Kim’s Mom, Krissi, Nicole, Gina, LB, Bowtie Ben and Rocco’s Godfather Marty for everything you guys did. Rocco was so well behaved and it was great for him to see so many members of our family and friends!

Just seeing Rocco’s little personality develop is mind blowing, he has this amazing little smile and his laugh is the greatest. This is seriously the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. I can not wait for Kim and I to share all the things we love with him like watching our favorite Disney movies, taking him to our favorite places or just coloring.

This little dude has changed our lives forever and we love every minute of it!

To say I have been blessed, is a real understatement. I have the most amazing little son who I cannot even express how much I love and adore.  I am married to my best friend and the most amazing person I have ever met.

She is my rock and has supported everything I have done in the last 10 years. It was about 10yrs ago this time that Kim and I became friends while working together at middle island Wal-Mart.  Side note, working at Wal-Mart was terrible but while working there I met my wife and some of the best friends a guy could have, so thank you Wal-Mart!

Any ways back on track, staring in 2002 my life has had some major changes and things happen that changed the way I looked at everything. I was not always in the right mindset and seriously didn’t know how things could have changed so much in such a short time. There was one person that got me through this rough patch and helped me out so much. Kim was there for me, if I needed to talk, vent or just needed to get out.

That didn't change in the last 8yrs either. She has always been there for me, she is the seriously the most caring, understanding, loving, beautiful person I have ever known. And I can now say she is the best mother; she takes care of Rocco everyday and does so much for our little family.  Between working 2 jobs I am not home as much as I would like to be, Kim does everything around the house from food shopping to cleaning to taking care of our little man. I appreciate her and everything she does so much, and I am so fortunate to have her home taking care of Rocco instead of having to put him into a daycare facility.

Babes I love everything about you and appreciate at all you do! You have been the one constant in my life for the last 10yrs and just wanted to thank you for being there for our son, our family and me! I will love you forever and then some!

Why Start Blogging?

So why start blogging and why now?

To be honest with you the last time I posted a blog was probably on my MySpace back in like 2004 and it was probably about what an awesome time I had at Hurricane Omally’s

( A dive bar that used to be in Centereach NY). My influence for starting a blog is my wife, she has been blogging for a few years now and I always thought it was cool reading it and seeing what goals or things she was posting about.

The reason I wanted to start blogging was to share things, if you know me I’m really big into social media so I love things like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook but I really wanted to say more than just 140 characters. I want it to be more than just a quick status update or a tweet, if people really want to see whats goin on they will check this out and not just give me a thumbs up. Who knows how many people will really read this, but I want to put it out there. This is seriously the most exciting time of my life, my wife and I just had our first child and it is truly something so amazing I don’t know if I could put it in words!  But I will totally try! So from this point on be ready for lots of posts about my awesome wife, my new son, the new york rangers, our travels, graphic design, Disney, and what ever awesome things come my way!
